Biography
Hi, my name is Lily Grace Street and I am 15-years-old. I am a grade 9 student at Bayview Community School in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. I love listening to music. Jacob Sartorius is my favorite singer/songwriter and I was lucky enough to meet him in 2017! I taught myself how to play piano by ear and am currently teaching myself guitar. I enjoy playing sports, especially basketball and softball. This year I am the president of my school's student council. I love spending time with my friends, making others smile, and anything that involves being creative. This is my first time attending the CWSF. I came up with the idea for my project out of my interest in seeing if the products I use everyday actually work to kill harmful germs. Although I don't know what I want to be when I graduate, I look forward to continuing my studies in university.

Abstract:Bacteria, both good and bad, is everywhere. Antibacterials are found in common products we use everyday, such as soaps, household cleaners, and skincare products, to kill harmful bacteria that can lead to illness and infection. But how well do they work on surfaces we touch everyday? My experiment tested eight antibacterial products to see which one is the most effective in preventing bacterial growth.
