It's purpose is to create intense electromagnetic radiation and wirelessly transmit electrical energy. It does this by amplifying a regular household voltage by tens of thousands of times. It uses resonance to excite two seperate circuits, which transfers energy between them. The Tesla Coil spawned modern radio transmission. |
