| My name Saisrihari Prithiviraj. I am a grade 8 student at Bible Hill Junior High School, Truro, NS. I am profoundly interested in science and had been participating in Science Fair since grade 5. I am interested in sports and play basketball, badminton, and hockey. This year I qualified for the provincial badminton championship. When I grow up I want to be a Dentist. |

Methods to mitigate salinity stress are limited. In this project, I developed an environmentally friendly method of imparting salinity stress tolerance in plants. I achieved this by applying bacteria isolated from seaweeds to roots of plant. The bacteria modulated the physiology of plant allowing better growth under high salt conditions. |
