| I am 11 years old, and originally came from Germany and have German-Hungarian parents. In 2011 I moved to Alberta and live in Edmonton now, where I attend the Grade 7 Honours program after jumping Grade 6. I enjoy playing chess and classical guitar, speak five languages and am interested in architecture and arts (and science, of course). On my first regional science fair in 2014 I won the RASC Astronomy Award for a study on Supernova Remnants. Being very active as a Climate Justice Ambassador, representing Canada on the Global Board of the Plant-for-the-Planet Youth Initiative, for 2015 I wanted to take on a Science Fair project that combines science and my passionate Climate Change topic. I would like to extend my studies on the whole of Canada and raise awareness on the importance of responsible use of natural resources, and what we should not pollute into the air. For any students who has not yet decided to take part in a science fair, I would only say that this is as much fun as it helps to grow beyond the usual school stuff! When I grow up, I want to become an environmentally friendly architect. |

Endangered Alberta-Climate Change at OUR Doorstep
