| My name is Sabrina Mogus and I am a 12 year old grade 7 honours student. I am passionate about science and engineering and I would love to pursue a career as a scientist that is involved in helping our environment. When I am not attempting science experiments, I enjoy playing soccer, basketball, participating in track and field. I am a member of a local Girl Guides unit. Since I was 7 years old I have been participating in shoreline cleanups (this is where I found my interest for my science fair project). During the summer I grow veggies and fruits in my backyard where I donate them to a local mission for their food program. At school I am a member of our student leadership team and have been chosen to represent our school in the math and science Olympics. Outside of school I am part of a local volunteering group where I participate in community events. Like Albert Einstein said “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new”. This is a quote that I honor because I believe that mistakes and trying new things is what leads you to success. |
