Biography
Raphael Hotter is a 15-year-old Grade 10 student at Herzliah High School in Montreal, Quebec. He won the Gold Medal in the Intermediate category at the Provincial Science Fair and will be representing Quebec at the MILSET Science Exhibition in Belgium. He has a great passion for hockey, football and baseball. He also has a great interest in learning about neurology, and hopes to one day become a neurosurgeon.

Abstract:“Ebola No More!” has taken a significant step in discovering a receptor antagonist for the NPC1 protein, a receptor that is essential for the contraction of the Ebola virus. By performing computer simulation tests as well as analyzing the characteristics of molecules, it has found the molecule with the highest probability of inhibiting NPC1.
