Biography
My name is Mya McGregor, I am a Mohawk from Kahnawake, I attend Kahnawake Survival School and am in grade 8. I enjoy playing all different types of sports especially soccer, which is where I got the idea for my science project. I never knew how much air I should put in my soccer balls or if the amount even mattered at all. My plan next is to figure out how the air pressure effects the handling of the ball during play. My advice for anyone thinking of doing a project is to choose something you enjoy doing.

Abstract:My project tests how the amount of air pressure in a soccer ball affects the distance it will travel. I have tested 3 different amounts of air pressure five times each and measured the distance each ball travelled. This project helped me understand the affects of air pressure and the perfect amount needed to receive the best results while playing soccer.
