Biography
My name is Hannah McDonald and I am a grade 7 student at St. Luke Catholic Elementary School. Some things I like to do are playing the piano, reading, and spending time with family and friends. My favourite subjects are math, science, history, and art. I found this idea, and it sparked my interest because I love to read, I enjoy forensics, and mysterious things. I really wanted to do it because it would be like the TV show "Criminal Minds" too, mysterious to figure out who bit the plate. Some advice that I would give other students thinking about doing a project, is to find something that you are interested in and will have fun with, or else it will be boring the whole time.

Bite Me
Challenge:Health
Category:Junior
Region:North Bay
City:North Bay, ON
School:St. Luke Catholic Elementary School
Abstract:My project compares different mouth spans between genders. What I do is take styrofoam plates, cut them to fit the participants mouth and get them to bite it. After, I measure the distance between the canines and second molars to see if the male or female’s mouth span is bigger. I conduct trials to see if people can guess which gender it is visually.
