Biographie
My name is Christopher Mulvihill, and I am from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I am in grade 11 at Riverview Rural High School taking Advanced and French Immersion courses.I enjoy reading and music. I’ve played piano for 11 years, and I’m currently working on my grade 9 Royal Conservatory of Music. I play in both the school band and the jazz band. My reasoning for this choice of topic is that I find the reactions of people interesting. I enjoy learning about the way others think and behave. I’ve participated in the Regional Science Fair for the past few years, and I’m excited to participate in the Canada Wide Science Fair.

A Comparison of Frustration Reactions
Défi:Découverte
Catégorie:Sénior
Région:Cape Breton
Ville:Albert Bridge, NS
École:Riverview High School
Sommaire:My project observed the difference in reactions to a frustrating situation between various groups. The frustrating stimulus was induced using a magnetic board I created. The participant would attempt to place paper clips on magnets that were connected to a switch. Verbal and facial expressions were analyzed. Learning about frustration helps turn it from a roadblock of life to a tool for progress.
