Good Tips for Wood Chips
Division:Engineering & Computing Sciences
Category:Intermediate
Region:Strait
City:Antigonish, NS
School:Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional School
Abstract:This project incorporates a method of measuring moisture level of woodchips and an effective means of drying them. The solar dyer is environmentally sound, using solar energy to dry the woodchips, and consequently improves combustion and cost efficiency, as burning wet hog fuel is inefficient, costly, and polluting.
