I am a 9th grade student at Westmount Charter School in Calgary, Alberta and I am extremely passionate about coding and robotics. Through my love of science, I have taken part in many science fairs and competed in various robotics competitions such as FLL. In an effort to spread my passion with others, when I was 10 years old I co-founded a robotics company with my sister called JunioTech Kids Academy which teaches children ages 7-14, robotics, coding, 3D design, game design, and prototyping. In addition, I am also a mentor at the Google Ignite club at the UofC, where I teach high school students going into the engineering field how to program using java and processing, along side university students. This year I have been tinkering with AI and machine learning which led me to improving road safety and bettering the driving experience that goes along with it, creating the ultimate driver alert system that will identify objects in its path and notify the driver of any potential hazards. |
