| Shohi - My name is Shohi Prajapati. I am 14 years old, in grade 8, live in Toronto, Ontario, and go to Dublin Heights Elementary and Middle School. I have been in the gifted program since grade four. My very first science fair was in grade five, where my partner and I won first place. In grade six, our class took part in the Invention Convention, and I got my first claim to fame by showcasing my invention on television; Breakfast Television. In grade seven I won the school spelling bee competition and went to the Toronto Regional CanWest CanSpell Spelling Bee, in which I came in fifth place. In grade eight, I went back to the CanWest CanSpell Spelling Bee and came in fifteenth place. I play the flute in the school band and also enjoy singing. I love spending time with my friends. For my career aspirations, I hope to win a scholarship to study medicine and later become a doctor. My current goals are to win the Canada Wide Science Fair, and to achieve a ninety percent or above average in school. | | Inna - My name is Inna Bershtadt and I was born in Moscow, Russia. I am currently 13 years old and I live Ontario, Canada. I immigrated to Canada when I was only 3, but I am able to speak and read fluent Russian at home. I have participated in many after school activities including, ballet, ballroom dancing, art, and I am currently taking guitar lessons. I am a fairly good runner and my friend and I have organized a successful Cheerleading squad at our school, Dublin Heights. So far, I have only attended 2 schools, Dublin Heights for JK - 5, then Summit Heights for the gifted program in grade 6, afterwards I returned to Dublin for gifted grades 7 - 8. I am an active participant school drama club and band. At Summit Heights I participated in the Invention Convention and I created a way for light to be reflected throughout the room using mirrors. I also applied to the MACS program at William Lyon Mackenzie C.I. and I was accepted, though I did not take up the offer. In the future I hope to attend the University of Toronto to pursue my dream of becoming a Dentist. |

Bzzz Balm - The Healthy Lip Explosion

The aim behind this project was to create a lip gloss that would heal cuts, moisturize lips, and possibly prevent UV Rays and cold sores. our products' perfection involved four separate experiments leading up to the final product. The result was an organic, healthy, non-synthetic, cosmetic suitable for everyday usage. |
