Biographie
My name is Andrew Probert. I am currently a grade 8 student attending Maple Grove Public School in Oakville, Ontario. Some of my interests outside of school include playing baseball, guitar and I have recently taken a liking to table tennis. Also, I am a loyal Blue Jays fan, win or lose. In grade 6, I was the proud recipient of the Student Citizenship award. I am honoured to be attending my second year at CWSF. Similar to last year, the inspiration for my project comes from my grandparents and trying to make their lives easier. The purpose of my innovation is to develop an affordable, multipurpose alerting device that will be easily accessible to the entire elderly population in hopes of saving someone’s life. My advice to other students wishing to create an innovation is to look around your environment, there are challenges everywhere waiting to be solved.
