Biography
Me and my partner Andréa Sarah Lo found our project subject while researching on alternative ways to produce vaccines, a method that would be more accessible and efficient. We had the idea of finding out more about tobacco based vaccines when we realized that the current method used, chicken-egg based, takes too much time when during epidemics. Later, I hope to branch in science but I know it’s very large, so maybe in immunopathology or pharmaceuticals. At school, I am involved in many extracurricular and competitive activities such as improvisation, Génie en Herbe, and after-school DES+ conferences. I love writing in general, it is one of my passions, and I applied a few of my poems to the Radio Canada competition. But above all, I love science and I am in the biology option at my school. If I would have to give advice to other students, I would really recommend to make a plan before starting. You have to know where you are going, and also, don’t be afraid to leave your confort zone!
