Biography
My name is Kaleb Smith and I was born on September 15th, 1992 in Swift Current , Saskatchewan. I attend the Swift Current Comprehensive High School and I am currently in grade nine. Some highlights I have accomplished this year was playing linebacker on the high school’s football team and winning gold on the high school’s wrestling team. One of my favorite pastimes is to go deer hunting in northern Saskatchewan with my dad and grandpa. My future plan is to continue to work hard in my school studies so I am able to further my education at university in engineering or design.

Abstract:This project tested boil/bite mouthguards versus custom fitted mouthguards to determine which mouthguard provided better protection against dental trauma. Indirect and direct blows were simulated on dental models using home designed equipment. The custom fitted mouthguard was found to have superior protection during a indirect blow while both mouthguards were found to have similar protection during a direct blow.
