Biographie
My name is Parth Shah and I am proud to have made it to the CWSF. I would consider my self rather introverted and do not take part in many activies outside of school. However I would like to think that doesn;t mean I can't have hobbies. I quite like and always have had a passion for playing soccer. As a young boy I would play soccer non-stop till the sun went down in my backyard. However, after a few years went by, I found myself more and more attracted to technology and smartphones in particular. The inspiratation for my project came out of a YouTube video online which went over FitBit's and heart rate measuring as well as another science fair project studying the effect of light on the Daphnia Magna, an invasive species in the waters around the world. I thought, "why not study the effects of light on the human body" and so my project came to be. For further investigations and adjustments to my project, I would have loved to change up the experiment procedure. As far as advice goes to fellow scientists, stay positive. The sky is the limit! Sommaire:The goal of my project was to analytically identify the effects of light on the human heart. My project consists of both a study and an experiment. Over the course of a few weeks, I came to the conclusion that light can affect our heart as well as having other influences.
