| My name is Mackenzie Landsburg. I am 13 years old and in Grade 8 at Cremona School. I live on a ranch in the foothills of Alberta. On the ranch I ride my horse and help out with chores. I love sports and my favourites include basketball and track and field. Outside of school I like to hang out with my friends and listen to music. Since kindergarten, I have participated and won awards every year in Science Fair. In 2006 and 2007 I won Gold Medal and Best of Fair at my school science fair, the county science fair and at the regional science fair. Last year I went to the CWSF in Saguenay, Quebec, and loved it. After graduation I plan to go to university to get a Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering. |

Does Microwaving Water Affect Plant Growth?

After growing the barley for three weeks the plant heights were compared using an analysis of variance. The results showed that at a 95% and 99% level of confidence there was no significant difference between the seven water treatments. |
