| My name is Meera and I am currently a grade 10 student in Ontario. I am a student senator, and next year's trustee, a mentor for new students, and a tutor. I think the science fair is a great opportunity to learn independently. When your work isn't being controlled or dictated by a teacher or a supervisor, it broadens your ability to learn. With the science fair, the sky is literally the limit. |

To discern the effect of prevalent medications on plant life, Metformin and Crestor were introduced to fenugreek seeds at different concentrations. Uncontaminated, bottled water was used as a control and the effects of the medications were observed over 15 days. |
