Caribou Skin Clothes vs Modern Clothes

Abstract:The project studied the warmth of traditional clothing made of caribou hides vs. modern clothing made of synthetic matenials during winter and spring in Nunavut, Canada. Participants wearing the different clothing were put through a series of exercises outside, to compare body temperature and comfort levels. Caribou clothing was found to be the warmest.
