Biography
My name is Claire Petersen. I am a grade 11 student at Olds High School. In my spare time I play competitive softball and enjoy being active outside through hiking and skiing. I also have a passion for reading and learning languages. In the future, I would like to pursue a career in engineering, as I have a passion for math and science. Also in the future I would love to continue to participate in science fairs. I have really enjoyed my experience with science fair and would love to explore other aspects of science in future years. This year my project is psychology based, which is something I have become very interested in. This will be my second Canada-Wide Science Fair and am super excited to be participating in it again this year!

Abstract:The purpose of my research this year is to determine the most accurate form of thinking in a controlled test-like environment. I tested 100 high school students in my experiment to prove whether analytical thinking or intuitive thinking is most accurate. I learned that in a situation like a test analytical thinking is most accurate.
