Biographie
I enjoy participating in extracurricular activities including travel hockey and soccer, track and field, squash, singing, and guitar. I enjoy traveling and learning about Canadian heritage. I'm involved in and around my school community. I love to try new things and test my limits in all that I do. I received the highest score at my elementary school on the Gauss test. I got third place at Youth X for Youthrive; an entrepreneurship opportunity that I participated in grade 7. Though my future is not yet clear to me, I would love to play on a university hockey or soccer team as well as work in the medical field; perhaps psychology because I love helping people. I was inspired by my pescatarian diet for my project. In the future, I would like to see people of my demographic more informed of what they are putting into their bodies because Mercury is extremely toxic and the consumption rates should be limited and monitored. To students interested in doing a science fair project, I say "Go For It!" I'm so grateful and excited to participate in CWSF and also so proud of how far I've come.

Sommaire:Walleye in Lake Erie were studied and found to exhibit mercury. The levels determined in the study did not pose immediate concern for the health of people eating Lake Erie fish. It is important to be aware of mercury in the fish one eats as it is a very dangerous neurotoxin that can cause life-altering effects on the body.
