Biography
Anthony Saturnino is a grade 7 student from St. Margaret Mary School, in Hamilton, Ontario. Anthony has been competing in Science Fairs since grade 4 and has won multiple gold merit awards. Anthony also enjoys playing soccer and football competitively, playing the piano, playing chess, editing videos and hanging out with friends. He has participated in many math competitions and has received the HWCDSB Director's Award for Sciences and Technology. Anthony was inspired to create his innovation after learning that children at a young age can die from being trapped inside a hot car. For any other students considering doing a science fair project he encourages them to not only choose a topic you are passionate about, but to challenge yourself and have fun.

Abstract:HCDPS - Hot Car Death Prevention System is a device that was designed to help prevent hot car deaths. To achieve my goal, my system needed a way to sense any load on the car seat, sense temperature around the child and a notification system that would notify the parent or guardian and allow them to do something about the problem.
