| Angelo G. Gaillet is a grade 12 student at Shaftesbury High School in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Of Italian and French origins he came to Canada as part of a program for International Students. As the son of a doctor he has always been immersed in the world of science, but he had the opportunity to enter the world of independent scientific research after arriving in Winnipeg. Passionate in Computer Science he looked for a way to use it to improve or save people’s lives through medicine. He realized a project that uses machine learning and he discovered an interest in statistics. Away from the books he is involved in his school’s student council and practices horse riding. |

Ten specific questions patients answered were selected for my project. Answers to these questions were used to create a model for predicting future disease. |
