Biography
Hi! My name is Nicole Green. I am in grade twelve in Olds, AB. Interests I have include; skiing, curling, badminton, volleyball, running, and waterskiing. I love reading/writing, music, and baking. My considerations for the future are a career in human rights law. I am excited to continue my science fair projects and would love to take the project I'm currently working on even further. I have been entering science fairs for the last eight years and really enjoyed my time at the CWSF the last four years was fantastic and inspiring! The inspiration for my projects comes from attempting to use science to discover solutions to social problems. I have a passion for the human mind and the area of psychology as it applies to real world issues.

Lead the Way: The Influence of Stereotype Threat on Women in Leadership Roles
Challenge:Health
Category:Senior
Region:Central Alberta Rotary
City:Sundre, AB
School:Olds Junior Senior High School
Abstract:The purpose of my research was to investigate the presence of a negative stereotype against women in leadership roles due to the scarcity of women in these positions. I was able to determine there is no correlation between gender and ability to lead, despite this stereotype, but that participative leaders, regardless of gender, show a strong tendency towards leadership abilities.
