| I am so excited that I have the opportunity to go to Canada Wide Science Fair this year. I am very interested in STEM, especially mathematics. I love to travel and to see the different parts of the world and Canada. I play competitive hockey and softball. I thought of my project on why people don't get the flu shot when every year I get the flu shot and I wonder if it really works. Hopefully I can keep studying the influenza vaccine and other vaccines and see how they help people. You should believe that if you are interested in something it is a good idea to do a little bit of research on it because you never know where it will lead you. I am so happy and Lucky to get the chance to go to Canada Wide Science Fair! |

Flu Shot… Why Not?

Through my studying I have a better understanding of both. I found that only one third of Canadians get the influenza vaccine and I wanted to know why. I surveyed 192 people and found that most don't get the influenza vaccine because they don't have a clear understanding of both influenza and the vaccine. |
