My name is Tooba Razi, and I am a Grade 12 student at Fort Richmond Collegiate in Winnipeg, MB. In my free time, I work with the Foundation for Student Sciences and Technology, Project Pulse Winnipeg, am on the South Winnipeg Youth Council, Peer Tutor, volunteer at the Health Sciences Center and am involved in many in-school clubs, some of which being Interact Club and High Altitude Balloon Club. I got involved in the sciences at a young age, and have developed a passion for it. With my combined interest in humanitarian work and sciences, I have always hoped to better the world in some way through my discoveries. Considering what a global epidemic Cancer is in today's world, in my project, I hoped to enhance current cancer therapeutics with the use of natural products. My inspiration comes from those around me who continue to motivate me to be better, and do more. If you are a student interested in doing science fair, my advice to you is take risks; new science discoveries are the result of risks taken by scientists, when all odds were against them. |
