| My name is Aidan I live in Delta and am in grade 7. I go to school at Devon Gardens Elementary great school great teachers. I do a few sports. I'm not sure about my post secondary plans or career plans. the inspiration for my project came from articles concerning the banning oxybenzone based sunscreens in Hawaii. I plan to continue this project and test different theories on if zinc or titanium oxide based sunscreens are actually better for the environment. Advice for others would to not be too stressed about the project and think of real-world problems or if is this project relevant to the world. Lastly, make you read all the criteria for higher stage of competitions so can be prepared. |

I researched at first about corals because there were studies about it affecting corals, I later adapted this project for plants since we don't really have corals on our coast. I did this project so that more people would know about sunscreens effects. I really hope people care ans change their sunscreens. |
