Division: | Engineering & Computing Sciences | Category: | Junior | Region: | Greater Vancouver | City: | Burnaby, BC | School: | Moscrop Secondary | Abstract: | The goal of this project was to evaluate different methods of controlling soil erosion. The methods were vegetation, wattle fences, and brush layers in a cut (plus a control, which was a plain slope). Using rain and wind, natural conditions were recreated. At the end of the experiment the soil was weighed to calculate total soil erosion. |
