Biography
I am an 18 year old grade 12 student from the small town of Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. I have been awarded the opportunity to represent Team Sask for six consecutive years at CWSF. I have also been fortunate enough to be an award winner each year with my environmentally based projects with highlights of a multiple medals and trip to NYSF in Canberra, Aus. I play competitive volleyball, basketball, and badminton on behalf of my school and have competed at the provincial level many times with both volleyball and basketball capturing a title in basketball. I am apart of the school concert and marching band, church and community choir, I have attained my grade 8 in piano. I am the student leader of the volunteens program in my school and an active member of our Student council. I live on a mixed grain and livestock farm and love spending time with my horses and dog. I will be attending the University of Saskatchewan next year with hopes of eventually being accepted into optometry at the University of Waterloo. Canada Wide has had a huge impact on my life and I will be forever greatful for the experiences and friendships gained.

Abstract:When the automobile was invented in 1806 it was quickly observed that the waste heat needed to be removed in order to run efficiently. The substances in the heat-transfer however are very detrimental to the environment. A recorded 590,000,000 passenger-cars are operating world wide(1:11),making this problem more substantial. The project furthered the testing of a glycerin-based solution as an environmentally friendly antifreeze.
