My name is Alexandra Milak and I am a grade ten student attending Innisdale Secondary School in Barrie, Ontario. In previous years I have attended both National Science Fairs in Vancouver and Saguenay where I have earned awards and scholarships. Along with having a passion for science, I am also very interested in history and humanities. I am an active member in my school sitting in on numerous committee’s including Junior Leaders, Leadership Committee, and being an active member on the Dance Team, and the Mountain Biking Club. In the community I volunteer as a dance teaching assistant at my dance school, visit local nursing homes and teach Sunday School. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, kayaking, mountain biking, traveling, shopping, and hanging out with my family and friends. Photography is my outlet; it allows me to capture unforgettable moments through the lens capturing the emotions and thoughts of those around me. I live each day to its fullest and always have a positive outlook on things. In the future I plan on studying Molecular Cell Biology and Neuroscience in hopes of pursuing a career in Neurosurgery. |
