Thomas - I live on a grain farm in Canada’s most northerly agricultural community. I am the fifth of eight children. I enjoy hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors. I often go skiing and snowmobiling and I have always loved to go snowboarding. I picture myself following my father’s footsteps: raising a family and farming in Blumenort. | Martin - Born and raised in Canada’s most northerly farming community, I am the second of six children. My hobbies include reading, running, biking, rafting, and quading. I have an interest in horses, and antique cars & trucks. Playing on my school’s varsity volleyball and basketball teams, I enjoy being physically active. When I look into the future I see myself married with a family, farming cattle and horses. |

We hypothesized that fabric could be used to separate the cleavers from the grain. After testing a number of fabrics, we found that felt attracted the most cleavers. We successfully built a model using felt which proved our hypothesis. |
