Welcome to the online registration and management system for the Eastern Newfoundland Science and Technology Fair. Using the links on the left, the public can register as a participant or as a judge.  The committee can use the Fair Administration link to manage the fair, see who's registered, generate reports, etc.. The configuration link is for the committee webmaster to manage the configuration of the Science Fair In A Box for the fair.

This science fair is an annual event that brings together over 300 of the best and brightest grade 7 to 12 science students of Eastern Newfoundland. To qualify for the fair, students will have already proven their skill in their school science fair.

This year the fair will be held at MacDonald Drive Junior High School (St. John's, NL)


Fair Dates:  Friday, April 22 and Saturday April 23, 2016

 

Please note that only students are permitted on fair floor during judging.  Parents, teachers, and friends are not permitted on the floor until the public viewing on April 23rd.

 


Schedule of Events

Friday, April 22, 2016

8:00 am - 9:00 am - Registration

9:00 am - 10:00 am - Student set-up of projects - MacDonald Drive Jr. High gymnasium ...prepare for tour departure by bus.

10:00 am - 1:00 pm - Student tours of MUN, Marine Institute, Ocean Sciences Center and College of The North Atlantic with lunch at tour location (students will be responsible for their own lunch with the exeption of CNA tours where lunch is provided.)

12:00 am - 1:00 pm - Judging without students present

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Judging with students present (Please note: Students must remain on the fair floor for the entire judging period)

10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Public viewing - MacDonald Drive Jr. High gymnasium (open to the public)

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Awards ceremony

After 1:00 pm - Project break down and clean up - MacDonald Drive Jr. High gymnasium
