Our project was on visual recognition, and how people percieve images. We wanted to find out if people see an image as a whole instead of "disgesting" the full image. Our hypothesis was if we flashed an popular sign or icon that was slightly altered, then the test subjects wouldn't be able to identify the difference between the altered image and the original image at a first glance. We categorized the test subjects by their gender and age, the age groups being 12 and under, 13-19, and 20 and over. Once we finished testing, after analyzing our results we found out that our hypothesis proved to be correct.
