Our project tests how density of different types of wood affects the burning rate of wood and also the temperature of the air surrounding the burnt wood.rnrnOur results suggested that woods with higher densities will have a slower burning rate, but hotter temperatures for the surrounding air.rnrnThis will help determine what types of woods are safest to use to build houses, in case of house fires.
