The critical question for our project is "How does the growth, structure, and properties of crystals affect its uses?" The focuses of our research is how the environments, colour, and growth rate and patterns affect crystal development. We also researched how different properties of crystals impact the way it is used in our everyday lives. A modern day example of this topic is the use of crystals in items such as toothpaste, credit cards, computer CPU's, and other types of technology. Consequently we conducted two experiments focused on how the growth of crystals varies according to the physical conditions.
