Welcome to the 2016-17 Quinte Regional Science and Technology Website. We hope that you will find all the information you need to help you to have a successful time at our science fair. Please don't hesitate  to ask and give some suggestions on how we can improve the site to make it easier for you to find the necessary information.

Students should arrive between 8:00-8:30 at Loyalist College.


Schedule for the Day (Participants)

8:00-8:45 setup

8:30-9:00 Safety Check

9:00-11:00 First Round/ special awards

11:00-11:15 Judges decide on projects

11:00-11:30– Awards are handed out

11:30-12:00 – Lunch

12:00-2:30 – Second Round of Judging – Public Viewing Time, Science displays

2:50-3:00 Students Pack-up

3:30 Awards Ceremony- 3:30-5:00

***special award judging is from 9:00-11:00 and 12-2:00

We have always greatly appreciated the many volunteer's contribution to the success of our fairs because of the integrity, professionalism and dedication they bring to the process. We hope this relationship and source of judges will continue for many years to come, however, this year we have additional opportunities available to interested parties. We are currently recruiting additional committee members. We are actively seeking five to eight new members. For more information on the available positions, please visit the link below.

 QRSTF 2017 - April 1st, 2017
 We will be at Loyalist College again. It is an excellent venue for our fair.

Our Supports:

 No Electrical outlets will be provided and you must follow guidelines on the use of any electricity.

  No Ingestion projects. CWSF has asked that you avoid starting any projects that involve the ingestion of anything. (human experiments)

  All animal experiments (vertebrate and non vertebrate)  need to be approved prior to being eligible for the science fair.
