Welcome to the 2020 Renfrew County Regional Science & Technology Fair Registration Web Site.

The 2020 Fair will be held on 3 - 4 April 2020 at the Petawawa Civic Centre.

Thanks everyone for a great 2019 fair! You can check to see the winners by clicking the "Winners" tab to the left of the page. Pictures have been posted on our Facebook page!

Congratulations to Team Renfrew County for winning several awards at the 2019 Canada Wide Science Fair in Fredericton, New Brunswick! Bridgit Bennett-Delorme won an Intermediate Bronze Medal for her "CPR Model #2", Aaryan Harshith won a Junior Silver Medal and the Junior Actuarial Sciences Award for his "Using Artificial Intelligence to Diagnose Diabetes Early" project and Jessica Yemen won an Intermediate Silver medal for her project "Taking Flight: Monarch Butterfly Conservation".

Sign-in and project setup will be from 5:30 to 8 pm on Friday, April 3th; if you cannot make it Friday night and require setup on Saturday morning, please contact info@rcrsf.ca for approval (projects approved to be set up on Saturday must be fully set up before 8:30 am). Students must be at the fair for judging by 8:30 am on Saturday, April 4th. Be ready to be at the fair until 5:00pm.

You do not need to first participate at a school fair to be part of RCRSF, our fair is for all students interested in a science or technology project!

Please read out ethics guidelines before registering your project.

Please note that there is a known issue with Grade 7 and 8 students registering with their school (@student.rcdsb.on.ca) email addresses. Our automatic emails are getting blocked (for Grade 7 and 8 students only), which makes it impossible to register. There is no workable solution, please register with another email address. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

If you need further clarification of the rules or assistance registering please send an email to info@rcrsf.ca

Science/Technology fairs are a chance for students to work on a project related to some aspect of science, typically an experiment, innovation or study. The students' work is presented at a science fair and the students are evaluated on their scientific thought, originality, understanding, and the exhibit itself.

The best projects in each category are given awards and the best projects in the fair will move on to the Canada Wide Science Fair, all expenses paid. CWSF 2020 will be held in Edmonton, Alberta from May 9th to 16th.

We now post photos of the Renfrew County Regional Science Fair and Team Renfrew County at the Canada Wide Science Fair (CWSF) on Facebook! Please "like" and share our Facebook page!
