Nicholas Weaver is a Grade 10 student attending Highland Secondary School in Dundas, Ontario. He has a wide variety of interests including science, math, robotics, hockey, and archery. He lives in Rockton, a small village located on the outskirts of Hamilton which is known for the Rockton Worlds Fair and the African Lion Safari. Nicholas has competed in the Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair the last four years. His interest in robotics started three years ago when he built his first robot, a custom designed ‘battlebot’. Next, he developed and tested an anthropoid or insect based robot which included sensors.
