I attend St. Joseph Elementary school. I am an avid reader and enjoy sports. I play soccer and enjoy camping in the summer and love to ski in the winter. This is the second year that I have competed in the regional science fair and have enjoyed participating and meeting new people, and now look forward to the Canada wide science fair In Truro, Nova Scotia.

Patheogenic Bacterial Elimination:Bact. Lysis Through the Appl. of Muramidase
Division:Biotechnology / None
Region:Bay Area
City:Acton, ON
School:St. Joseph
Abstract:The purpose of this experiment is to determine if powdered muramidase can kill bacteria through lysis. A null hypothesis was formulated, but the resulting evidence refuted the null-hypothesis, in that there was a positive association between bacterial growth rate and the amount of muramidase the bacteria was exposed to.
