Print/Download as PDF

I am 14 years old and a grade nine student at Ellenvale Junior High School. I enjoy playing hockey for the Dartmouth Whalers and soccer for Dartmouth United. I belong to 17th Dartmouth scout troop and recently received my Chief Scout’s Award. I have been a paper carrier for the Chronicle Herald since I was 10 years old. I play alto saxophone in band and I also play in a jazz band and a saxophone ensemble. I plan to do the International Baccalaureate program in high school. I hope to be come an aeronautical engineer.

Abstract:Precision BioLogic had a problem with barcodes frosting up when they shipped their products, which are stored at ultra low temperatures (below –70C). Three different technologies were tested. The barcodes did not work well, the magnetic strip worked but had to be attached in a weird way, and the smart card worked flawlessly.
