Abstract:This experiment was performed to discover if LEDs emitting a narrow spectrum of light could be used to grow plants as a substitute to traditional artificial lighting with similar results. Six different colours of LEDs were used to grow radish plants, along with a positive and a negative control. The resultant biomasses and heights for each approximate wavelength range of light were compared.
