What Causes A Brain Freeze?
Division:Sciences de la vie
Région:River Valley
Ville:Fredericton, NB
École:Albert Street Middle School
Sommaire:This project explains what causes a brain freeze and demonstrates how common they are. Fifty subjects were tested and it was discovered that 78% of them experienced brain freezes and that they are more common when the palate is exposed. Brain freezes occur when a cold substance is consumed quickly and the body reacts by dilating the blood vessels which causes the pain.
