"The Answer My Friend Is Blowing in the Wind"
Division:Engineering & Computing Sciences / Environmental Innovation
Region:Northwestern Ontario
City:Thunder Bay, ON
School:Pope John Paul II Senior E.S.
Abstract:Hydro costs are rising and with responsibility to be eco-friendly, wind energy is becoming common. Using a voltmeter and high powered blower, I determined the most efficient a SEP wind turbine can be by adjusting pitch and number of blades on the turbine. This helps one know what pitch and number of blades to use if actually using a wind turbine to generate an appliance.
