My name is Marshall Quinn and I currently go to Bear Creek Secondary School in Barrie, Ontario. I am currently enrolled in Grade 10 next. I plan to be a pilot when I am older. I would also like to get a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree from university. I play golf, baseball, tennis, volleyball and track and field. I also ski with my family. I also enjoy dirtbiking. I took part in the provincial geography challenge in grade eight as well as the national science fair in Truro. My family and I travel a lot and have been to many countries. I enjoy reading, playing sports and playing with my friends. My favourite movie is "The Lord of The Rings". I have been involved in Science Fair since Grade 4 and want to continue to be involved all the way through high school.

Abstract:The purpose of my project is to eliminate the free chlorine radicals in the ozone layer that break off from CFCs released into the atmosphere. My theory is that by injecting sodium metal into the ozone layer the sodium will react with the chlorine forming stable sodium chloride. This would prevent the chlorine radicals from continuing to destroy ozone molecules.
