My name is David Bagwell. I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on May 27, 1992. I am now sixteen years old and live in Air Ronge, Saskatchewan. I am currently in grade eleven, French Immersion, at Churchill Community High School in La Ronge. I enjoy playing badminton and have represented my school several times at the district level badminton tournament. Some of my other interests include reading, writing, drawing, building with Lego, and swimming, in which I have my level ten Red Cross. I also enjoy playing chess and won a bronze medal in the Cornwall, Ontario Regional Chess Tournament. I love working with technology, and in the past year and a half, I have made five short movies using various techniques like stop motion animation. I have entered the Northern Saskatchewan Regional Science Fair for the past five years, winning two honourable mentions, a bronze medal, a silver medal, and the gold medal that has brought me to Winnipeg this year.
