My name is Tera. I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba but grew up in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. I was born on June 29th; I’m fifteen years of age. I was born a triplet. My favourite subject in school is English or Computers. I was previously on the social committee and student council. I volunteer at the Northern Lights gymnastics club, and also participate in the competitive group. I love reading and exercising. When I’m older, I’d like to either get into a trades business or pursue a career in another field. I’ve participated in many level one gymnastics competitions and have achieved academic awards from my years spent in school. A few of my favourite experiences have been participating in Students On Ice, Arctic Winter Games, and Exchange Trips. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I absolutely adore trying new things, meeting new people and going on exhilarating adventures.

Abstract:This study was performed to determine which type of water had the least amount of bacteria. Metal levels in the Meladine River were also measured to determine if the local mine was having an effect. The results showed that the Meladine River water had the most bacterial growth. The metals found in the Meladine River water sample were lower than the acceptable standards.
