I’m an athlete who enjoys all kinds of organized sports including hockey and lacrosse along with recreational activities like skiing and fishing. I’m involved in many school activities including representing SADD, the Spirit of Harambee’s Project Kenya and a co-president of the physics club. I’m Westwood Community High School’s valedictorian and am planning to continue my education by attending the University of Alberta to complete a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

The Efficiency of Vertical Wind Turbines
Division:Sciences de la vie
Région:Wood Buffalo
Ville:Fort McMurray, AB
École:Westwood Community High School
Sommaire:Vertical axle wind turbines are in a very early stage as a technology. Commercial development has only occurred in a few instances and private attempts at construction are often based on convenience of materials rather than efficiency. I’ve designed my experiment to test classical VAWT plans and some of my own developments for efficiency to see which models are best for personal and commercial development.
