When I'm not going to science fairs, as I have for the past 11 years, you'll find me volunteering at a local theatre, helping plan upcoming UNESCO conferences, fixing medical equipment, taking photos, or maybe even doing work experience at the local college and school division.

Simulating Water Flow using Topographical Models
Region:Central Alberta
City:Carstairs, AB
School:Olds Junior Senior High School
Abstract:Flooding is a perennial problem that puts thousands of Canadians and millions in infrastructure at risk every year. Considering this, I have developed a complete workflow that allows the use of freely available topographical data to perform simulations of large-scale water flow that could be used in disaster planning and response, among many other applications.
