My name is Alison lee and I’m in grade 7. I have many different hobbies and interests. This is the first year I have entered science fair. Some of my accomplishments have been... I have been in the girl guides of Canada program for 7 years and am working on my 8th year. I also am a very good athlete and currently hold third place for 2008 in the 10-12 girls’ singles out of Canada for racquetball. I have done many community projects such as project porch light, where I delivered almost 400 energy efficient light bulbs to 400 different houses. I have a big hobby for cooking; I have been I a cooking class in school. Another one of my hobbies is band I currently play the French horn, and have been playing since beginning of grade 6. I have never been to Ontario, but I will be going to Toronto with girl guides of Canada early this summer. I hope that being in the national science fair will be a great new adventure for me!

Abstract:My project is about whether air fresheners will have an effect on the household plant Peperomia Obtusifolia. In this project I used three different air fresheners the products I used is Lysol, Febreze, and Air Wick 100% Natural. I was able to conclude that the Air Wick product had a negative effect on the plant and Lysol and Febreze had diminutive growing effects.
