Abstract:This project focuses on improving the efficiency of an airplane's airfoil through adding a second curve to the shape of the modern airfoil. Through extensive testing using load cells, it was determined that at this point of study, adding the second curve increased lift as well as increasing the lift-drag ratio of the wing.
